Hitting a blistering .414 in May, Tigers left fielder Riley Greene is fourth in Major League Baseball with his .327 batting average after his 2-for-2 effort in Monday’s loss to Cleveland, marking his eighth multi-hit effort this month. Greene, now in his fifth season with Detroit, is on pace for his fourth-consecutive 100-hit season and is closing in on 300 career RBIs, needing 12 runs batted in to achieve that feat.

Guardians rookie right fielder Chase DeLauter leads the team with 30 RBIs so far this season after back-to-back games with two runs batted in. DeLauter, who made his MLB debut with Cleveland during last year’s playoff matchup against Detroit, is hitting .305 this month, posting 18 hits in his first 15 games in May.
