The Athletics saw five different players hit home runs in the win, one being a grand slam from Tyler Soderstrom in the top of the second inning. Michael Stefanic, Brent Rooker and Austin Wynn also had an extra-base hits, Stefanic hitting two.

This will be the first meeting between the Rockies and Athletics, but they will meet again on March 22 as spring training winds down ahead of Opening Day.
