The San Francisco Giants will take the field again at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday night for the second game of a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies in South Philly. The hometown team came away with the first win of the series yesterday in a 4-3 win. The Phillies reliever Matt Strahm was credited with the win pitching a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. The Giants start the scoring first in the second inning with Thairo Estrada hitting a two-run RBI double. Philadelphia answered just one inning later with an RBI from Alec Bohm that scored Kyle Schwartz and a two-run RBI single from Branden Marsh that scored Bohm and Bryce Harper. Later in the fourth inning, Harper walked scoring Tre Turner for the fourth run of the game. Jorge Soler kept San Francisco in the game with a double-play hit that ended up scoring Nick Ahmed, but they couldn’t get the game-tying run. They will look to even the series here tonight.
