The Angels and White Sox will wrap up their first series of the 2025 season on Sunday afternoon in MLB action.

The Los Angeles Angeles will finish out their time in Chicago as the team completes its series with the White Sox on Sunday afternoon at Rate Field. The Angels got off to a rough start on Opening Day, falling to the White Sox in an 8-1 defeat on Thursday. The team’s lone run came off the bat of Logan O’Hoppe after he hit a sol shot to left field in the the top of the ninth. The second game of the series took place on Saturday and resulted in a 1-0 win for the Angels to improve to 1-1 on the season. Yoán Moncada brought in the team’s only run with an infield single in the eighth inning to take the lead which lasted. José Soriano got his first start of the season on the mound and showed out with seven innings of work in which he struck out five.

The White Sox fall to 1-1 on the season with Saturday’s 1-0 loss which was credited to Mike Clevinger after he gave up the only earned run of the game. The Angels held the Sox to just two hits in Saturday’s game which came from the bats of Andrew Benintendi and Brooks Baldwin. In Thursday’s season opening win, however, Chicago finished the game with nine hits led by Miguel Vargas who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Sean Burke took the win on Thursday with six innings on the mound in which he struck out three batters.

Tune in Sunday to watch the rubber match between these two teams as Jack Kochanowicz takes the mound for the Angels and Davis Martin gets the start for the White Sox.
