Cam Schlittler and the New York Yankees will battle Louis Varland and the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 4 of the American League Division Series on Wednesday.

The New York Yankees will continue the American League Divisional Series in Game 4 against the Toronto Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Wednesday night. Toronto is up 2-1 and can clinch the series with a win. The Blue Jays shattered the Yankees in the first game of the series, taking a 1-0 lead into Game 2. They won 10-1 on the back of a 5.2-inning dominant performance from Kevin Gausman. They dominated again at home in Game 2, winning 13-7 in a high-scoring affair. Catcher Daulton Varsho stole the show, going 4-for-5 at the plate. He had two home runs and four RBIs. George Springer, Vlad Guerrero Jr, and Ernie Clement also homered in the win.

He pitched eight scoreless innings, allowing just five hits with 12 strikeouts.

Toronto will choose to start Louis Varland, who will also pitch for the second time this postseason. The right-hander finished the regular season wth a 2.97 ERA and 75 strikeouts with a 1.20 WHIP. Varland has come in as a reliever in every game of this series thus far. He has pitched a total of 2.2 innings with two earned runs and three strikeouts, allowing only three hits.
