The Cubs look to snap a four-game spring losing streak on Monday when they take on the Braves
The Chicago Cubs host the Atlanta Braves in the first of two straight on Monday afternoon. The Cubs haven’t won a game since March 10 and are coming off four straight spring losses. The spring has been different for the Cubs as it was interuppted by a trip to Japan to play two regular season games against the Los Angeles Dodgers. They lost both of those games and then have come back to the states and lost their last three spring games. They have been limited to just five combined runs in the three losses and their spring record sits at 11-8. The Cubs will also host the Braves on Tuesday before they break camp to head to Arizona to take on the Diamondbacks in a four-game series. They will then head to Sacramento to take on the Athletics. They finally return home for six games against the San Diego Padres and Texas Rangers before they head back out west again to take on the Dodgers and Padres on the road.

The Braves, who play their spring training games in Florida, are playing their last two in Arizona as they too will also open their regular season on the west coast.
They will begin in San Diego against the Padres for four games before they take on the defending World Series champion Dodgers for three.
Their first home game will be April 8 when they begin a three-game series with the division rival Miami Marlins. They will then play three agaisnt the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Braves have been up and down this spring as they are just 12-12, but they haven’t lost since March 17. They won three in a row before playing to two ties in their last two games.
