The win was the first road win for the Braves this season and pushed their record to 4-10 on the season. It has not been a great start to the season for the Braves, but they are still looking to win their second straight series on Sunday. The Braves will send ace Chris Sale to the mound in the series finale. Sale has struggled in his first three starts this season as he has given up at least three runs in each and comes into Sunday 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA. In his last start on Tuesday he gave up five runs and nine hits in just four a two-thirds innings.

The Rays will counter with Shane Baez as they try and avoid a second straight loss. Baez has been great to start the season as he comes into Sunday 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA.

He went six innings without giving up a run in his first start against the Pittsburgh Pirates and then went seven innings against the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday while giving up just two runs.

The Rays will stay at home for six more games against the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees in a season-long 12-game home stand.

It has been an up and down season for the Rays as they won four of their first five and then lost five in a row. They are now 2-2 in their last four and it has put them at 6-8 on the season.
