The Cubs will now send Jameson Taillon to the mound as they try to clinch a series win. Taillon is 7-3 with a 3.48 ERA on the season. He has been pitching well over the last month and the Cubs have won his last five starts. He has given up two or fewer runs in each of those five starts.

The Brewers will look to solve Taillon as they try to even the series with the rival Cubs on Wednesday night.

The Brewers had come to Chicago winners of three of four, but the loss on Tuesday dropped them to 39-35 on the season.

Wednesday the Brewers will send rookie Jacob Misiorowski to the mound. He will be making just his second career start.

In his first start, Misiorowski didn’t give up a hit or a run in five innings against the St. Louis Cardinals. He struck out five and walked four to earn his first MLB win.
