The Brewers will come into one of the hardest places in the MLB to play with a record barely hanging over .500. They are 29-28 this season, sitting as the No. 3 team in the NL Central, 6.5 games behind the divisional-leading Cubs. Earlier this week, they swept the Boston Red Sox at home to go over that even mark. They will look to keep that momentum rolling into this series.

Quinn Priester will take the mound for Milwaukee to start this game. The right-handed pitcher is 1-2 this season with a 4.23 ERA and 32 strikeouts over 44.2 innings. The veteran, now in his fourth season, has started nine games for the team this season, with a large gap between good and bad games. His last outing was on the good side, giving up just one earned run on six hits with seven strikeouts over six innings.

Battling Priester for Philadelphia, Taijuan Walker will be the starting pitcher for the hometown team. The right-hander is 2-3 in his 2025 campaign with a 2.97 ERA and 33 strikeouts over 39.1 innings. He has had a difficult path, moving to a reliever spot earlier in the season, to being recalled to the starting rotation after the injury to Aaron Nola. Walker allowed three earned runs on six hits over 5.0 innings in his first start back.
