The Rays are now 16-21 overall this season heading into this weekend. They are the No. 4 team in the AL East, 2.5 games over the last-placed Baltimore Orioles and five games behind the divisional-leading New York Yankees. They will look to bounce back after being swept in three games against the Philadelphia Phillies earlier this week.

Jose Quintana will take the mound for Milwaukee to start this series on the road. The left-hander is 4-1 this season with a 2.83 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 28.2 total innings. He threw his worst start of the season in his last start against the Chicago Cubs. He gave up six earned runs on seven hits with six strikeouts in 5.0 total innings.
