Surging Milwaukee Brewers look for their 7th win in 8 games when they face the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday.

The Brewers can clinch a series victory over struggling Colorado on Wednesday night at Coors Field in Denver. Milwaukee has allowed just 18 runs over their last seven contests, 11 coming in a loss on Saturday to the Cincinnati Reds. The Rockies are 1-3 in their first homestand of the season and have yet to win consecutive games.

Brice Turang, Christian Yelich and William Contreras hit seventh-inning home runs and Jackson Chourio was 2-for-5 with a double and a triple as the Brewers cruised to a 7-1 win on Tuesday night. Freddy Peralta fanned six in five innings, surrendering only one run, to get his first win of the season. Chourio is slashing .306/.300/.633 with three homers and 11 RBI while Turang has also gone deep three times.

Brenton Doyle’s third-inning solo shot was all the offense Colorado could muster in the loss and starter Kyle Freeland fell to 0-2 after allowing five runs on eight hits over 6.1 innings. The Rockies left eight on base and were 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position. Catcher Hunter Goodman is slashing .229/.289/.486 with two homers while Doyle also has two long balls and a team-high six RBI.

Colorado right-hander Antonio Senzatela is 0-1 in two starts, but has yet to allow an earned run in 9.2 innings, posting a 2.17 WHIP. Left-hander Tyler Alexander is 1-0 and is set to make his second start on Wednesday for the Brewers. He pitched 5.2 hitless innings against the Reds on Friday and has a 2.00 ERA and 0.78 WHIP in nine innings.
