Friday night, Freddy Peralta will battle Joe Ryan on the mound as the Brewers open up a three-game series against the Twins.

The Minnesota Twins will take their home field at Target Field on Friday night for the first time this weekend, opening up a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers in Minneapolis. The Brewers are staying on the road, traveling from Chicago, Illinois, to Minnesota. They split two games with the Chicago Cubs earlier this week, with one of the three games being postponed to a later date. Tied with the St. Louis Cardinals in the conference, they have eyes set on catching the divisional-leading Cubs, who are 5.5 games ahead of them.

The Twins are coming back home to Minneapolis after six games and two series on the road. They were swept in their first series against the Houston Astros down in Texas before heading up to Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Reds. They won just one of those three games, avoiding the sweep with a 12-5 win on Thursday night.

Freddy Peralta will head to the mound to start this game for Milwaukee. The right-hander is looking for his seventh win of the season, going into this start at 6-4. He has a 2.60 ERA and 84 strikeouts over 83.0 innings. Peralta has given up just one earned run over his last two starts, going a total of 12.0 innings with nine strikeouts.

Minnesota will open up this series with Joe Ryan taking the mound. The right-hander is 7-2 in his 2025 campaign with a 2.93 ERA and 89 strikeouts through 80.0 innings. Ryan gave up two earned runs on two hits across 7.0 innings while striking out seven batters in his last start, which ended in a 3-2 loss to the Houston Astros.
