The Brewers go for their fourth straight win on Sunday afternoon when they take on the Twins

The Milwaukee Brewers go for the three-game sweep of the Minnesota Twins on Sunday afternoon. The Brewers took the opener in a 17-6 blowout on Friday and then shut out the Twins 9-0 on Saturday for their third straight win. The three straight wins have pushed their record to 42-35 and have them tied with the St. Louis Cardinals for second place in the NL Central. They trail the first-place Chicago Cubs by four and a half games in the division standings. Sunday, they will send Quinn Priester to the mound as they look to finish off the sweep. Priester comes into Sunday 5-2 with a 3.46 ERA. The Brewers have been playing well with him on the mound as they have won his last four starts. He has given up just a single run in each of his last three starts and he has earned a win in each. He went six innings in his last start against the St. Louis Cardinals. He gave up one run on four hits in the 3-2 victory.

The Twins are hoping they can get to Priester as they try to avoid the three-game sweep on Sunday.

They will turn to David Festa on the mound in the series finale. Festa is 1-1 with a 4.78 ERA on the season.

He lasted just three and two-thirds innings in his last outing against the Cincinnati Reds. He gave up four runs on two hits in the 6-5 loss.

The Twins were red-hot, but they have cooled off over the last two weeks as they have dropped eight of their last nine games. The slump has dropped their record to 37-39 on the season. They now sit in fourth place in the AL Central, 10 games back of the first-place Detroit Tigers.
