Friday’s pitching matchup has righty Freddy Peralta throwing for the Brewers against righty Erick Fedde for the Cardinals. Neither one pitched in that last series.
Peralta is rolling as he makes his 15th start of the season. Through the first 14, he’s 5-4 with a 2.69 ERA. Last time out he didn’t allow any earned runs and just one hit in six innings against the San Diego Padres. Fedde is 3-5 with a 3.54 ERA through 13 starts, and also didn’t allow an earned run in his most recent outing when he threw 5.1 scoreless against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
