Most recently, the Cardinals made it two-straight victories in the rubber match of a three-game series by taking down the Orioles 6-4 on Wednesday night. Brendan Donovan hit a two-run homer for the Cardinals in the fifth inning that gave St. Louis the lead, with Ivan Herrera driving in an insurance run with an RBI double in the seventh inning. 

As for Texas, the Rangers fell to the Blue Jays by a final score of 2-0 in a series loss to Toronto on Wednesday night. The game was scoreless through eight innings when Bo Bichette hit a pinch-hit, two-run homer in the ninth inning to give Toronto the lead. The Rangers managed only one hit in the loss.
