    Erick Fedde will head to the mound to start this game for St. Louis in the first game of the doubleheader. The right-hander is looking for his fourth win of the season, going into this start at 3-6. He has a 3.65 ERA and 51 strikeouts over 79.0 innings. After a dominant scoreless 5.1 innings, Fedde followed it up in his last start by giving up three earned runs on four hits with five strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

    Chicago will close out this series in the second game of the doubleheader with Adrian Houser taking the mound. The right-hander is 2-2 in his 2025 campaign with a 2.51 ERA and 22 strikeouts through 29.1 innings. Though he has only made five starts this season, he has two of them scoreless and one where he only gave up one run. However, his last outing ended in three earned runs over 5.0 innings with just two strikeouts, his worst outing of the season.
