Colorado Rockies and Kansas City Royals to play a getaway-day doubleheader on Thursday after a rainout.
The Kansas City Royals (10-14) have won back-to-back games after dropping six in a row and will host the Colorado Rockies (4-18) on Thursday at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City for a traditional doubleheader after Wednesday’s scheduled game was postponed by rain. The Rockies are just 1-12 on the road this season and have lost 11 straight as the visitor. Colorado has lost 100 games in consecutive seasons and dropped the series opener 4-3 in 11 innings on Tuesday.
