He improved his record to 7-0 and became the MLB ERA leader at 1.50 with the shutout. He’s having a great start to the season after he threw a no-hitter last year. They now have a 4.5 game lead for the top spot in the Wild Card race with the win. The Padres are only a game back of the Dodgers for the lead in the NL West.

The Padres have won four of their last five games and look to keep it rolling and are starting Nick Martinez tonight. The righty is 2-3 with a 3.99 ERA. The Rockies will try to bounce back by countering with Ryan Feltner, who is 1-2 with a 5.85 ERA.
