The Chicago Cubs look to clinch a series win on Tuesday night when they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Cubs took the opener on Monday night when they came back to win 3-2 in extra innings. The Cubs trailed 2-1 heading into the ninth, but Nico Hoerner scored from second on a wild pitch to tie the game with two outs. Hoerner would then single in the winning run in the top of the 11th for the Cubs’ third straight win.
The Cubs now sit at 10-6 on the season and will be looking to clinch a second series win on their current nine-game road trip. The Cubs will turn to Kyle Hendricks on Tuesday night. Hendricks has struggled in his first three starts and comes into the game 0-2 with a 12.98 ERA.

The Diamondbacks will counter with Tommy Henry as they try and bounce back from the disappointing loss in the opener.
Henry is also looking for his first win of the year as he comes into the start 0-1 with a 5.79 ERA.
The Diamondbacks are hoping to back Henry as they look to even the series with the Cubs. The loss on Friday in the opener snapped a two-game winning streak and was just their second loss in the last six games.
They had lost five in a row prior to this stretch and now sit at 8-9 on the season. On Tuesday they will look to get back to .500 with a win.
