The Cubs and Dodgers open up their Spring Training schedule on Thursday when the two teams hit the field. Watch free on Fubo.

The Chicago Cubs visit the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday afternoon in the first spring training game for both teams. The Dodgers are coming off a World Series championship last year and are looking to repeat, while the Cubs are trying to get back to the top of the NL Central and make it back to the playoffs. The two teams will open the regular season also when they head to Tokyo, Japan for two games on March 18 and 19. The games are a week earlier than the opening for the rest of the league. The Cubs missed out on one of the wild cards in the National League last year, but made a big trade for Kyle Tucker among others and are hoping it can help them make a run at the division title. The two teams will meet again on Friday in the second and final time of spring training.

The Dodgers are beginning their defense of their World Series championship. They beat the New York Yankees in five games to win it all for the second time in five years. The Dodgers were the best team in the MLB last year and then they got better over the winter.

They signed star Japanese pitcher Roki Sasaki, the best relief pitcher on the market in Tanner Scott and then also signed reliever Kirby Yates. They also have Shohei Ohtani on track to pitch for them this season after he was used exclusively in the DH spot as he recovered from Tommy John surgery last season.
