The Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels continue their three-game exhibition series on Monday, as action shifts across town to Angel Stadium.
As teams continue to gear up for Opening Day, some Major League squads are leaving their spring training sites and playing exhibition games in MLB ballparks. That includes the crosstown rival Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels, who are playing a three-game set ahead of Opening Day on Thursday. That series started on Sunday at Dodger Stadium, with the action shifting to Angel Stadium for two more games – with the first of two being played on Monday night.

In the series opener on Sunday, it was the Dodgers who came away with a 7-1 win at home. Max Muncy hit a home run for the Dodgers in that game, while Chris Taylor and Chris Okey both had multiple RBIs in the game.
For the Angels, left fielder Taylor Ward drove in the lone run of the game. That came on a solo home run to start the scoring for both teams in the third inning.
Although the Dodgers are now heading across town, they’ll be staying in LA once this series wraps up. They host the Detroit Tigers for Opening Day on Thursday. Meanwhile, the Angels will be hitting the road as their season opens up with a visit to the Chicago White Sox. The two LA teams won’t meet each other in the regular season until mid-May.
