The Cardinals and Dodgers begin a three-game series in St. Louis on Friday night.

After winning four of seven games over the Yankees and Mets, the Los Angeles Dodgers begin a three-game series vs. the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium on Friday night. Los Angeles is off to another terrific start this season with the third-best record in the National League to lead the NL West with a 38-25 pace. The Dodgers rank fourth in the majors in run differential (+76) but are just 6-4 in their last 10 games and only 15-14 on the road this season. St. Louis, on the other hand, is having a resurgence with a 34-28 record this season after a few down years by Cardinals standards. The Cardinals are five games behind the Cubs in the NL Central but are squarely in the NL Wild Card race. The Dodgers will send lefty Justin Wrobleski to the mound against Cardinals righty Sonny Gray in the series opener.
