This game comes after a very eventful Tuesday night at the ballpark. First, the start of the game had to be delayed – or make that bee-layed – as a beekeeper had to be called onto the field to remove a bee colony that had set up on the top of the protective netting behind home plate. The moment went viral and concluded with beekeeper Matt Hilton throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

The game itself was plenty entertaining too. It was tied 2-2 heading into extra innings. After the Dodgers scored one run in the top of the 10th the Diamondbacks won with two in the bottom half, coming on a Christian Walker walk-off home run.
For Wednesday night’s matchup, righty Yoshinobu Yamamoto will get the start for the Dodgers against lefty Jordan Montgomery for the Diamondbacks.
Yamamoto is coming off of one of his best starts of the year when he threw six scoreless innings against the Washington Nationals with six strikeouts. Montgomery threw seven innings and allowed three runs in his last start.
