How to Watch Giants at Angels (April 19): Stream MLB Live, TV Channel

The San Francisco Giants try to tie this series in this No vs. So Cal matchup against the Los Angeles Angels on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Angels look to stay above .500 and win this series against the San Francisco Giants in Game 2 on Saturday night. Both these teams have started off their seasons well but it is the Giants who should have the advantage on paper with their great standing in the tough NL West. The oddsmakers seemingly agree with the Giants holding the -135 line heading into this matchup. But the Angels laughed at all of that dominating on the mound in the opener winning 2-0. That win stopped the bleeding a bit ending a four-game losing streak which was by far the longest of LA’s early season. The win against the Giants was just the Angels’ fourth game at home as they start a much deserved six-game homestand through next week. The Giants are trying to avoid losing three in a row tonight.

Tyler Anderson had a brilliant start shutting down the Giants on Friday to improve to 2-0 on the season. Anderson only gave up three hits and he struck out six in six innings of work. The bullpen was great also only giving up an additional hit. Zach Neto hit an RBI double in just his first at-bat of the season. Neto would come around to score later in the second inning on a throwing error. Logan Webb was saddled with the loss despite pitching a great game. The Giants veteran went 6.1 innings while only giving up four hits and striking out an amazing 12 batters.

The Giants will look to get even by kicking their offense into a higher gear and starting Landen Roupp in Game 2. The righty is 1-1 with a 4.80 ERA, earning his first win of the season in his last start against the Philadelphia Phillies going five innings while giving up four runs. The Angels will counter with Kyle Hendricks who is looking for his first win of the season with a 0-1 record with a 4.20 ERA. The righty went four innings giving up five runs against the Houston Astros for his first loss of the season.
