The two teams will be meeting to close out the series following the first two of the three-game weekend, playing out on Friday and Saturday in South Florida. In Game 1 on Friday, the Giants were able to come away with a 2-0 shutout finish over the Marlins at LoanDepot Park. Matt Chapman and Heliot Ramos crossed home plate to help secure the two-run win in Miami. Meanwhile, Kyle Harrison got the start on the mound for the Giants, with the pitcher going for five innings and giving up just one hit to go along with his five strikeouts in that span.

Cal Quantrill started the series on the mound for the Marlins on Friday, with the pitcher going for five innings himself and giving up eight hits and both runs in the top of the first and fourth innings, respectively, to the Giants.

Quantrill also managed to strike out seven San Francisco batters in the game-one loss at home for Miami.

Then, in Game 2 on Saturday, the South Florida club was able to bounce back to take a narrow 1-0 finish at LoanDepot park, thanks to Dane Myers scoring the lone run.
