The Reds, though, are looking to hand him a loss in the opener on Thursday afternoon as they turn to Hunter Greene on the mound.

Greene is entering his fourth season with the Reds and is looking to build off his 2024 season in which he went 9-5 with a 2.75 ERA.

It was his best year in the majors and the first that he finished over .500. He also struck out a career-high 169 batters.

The Reds finished in fourth place in the NL Central last season and is looking to move up the division and compete for a playoff spot in 2025.
