Mike Yastrzemski hit the go-ahead single that proved to be the winner. The Rockies still had two hits and a walk in the bottom of the ninth inning, but they just couldn’t muster enough to rally. It was the Giants sixth-straight win of just one run.

The Rockies will have a tough chance at tying this series with one of San Francisco’s best on the mound in Robbie Ray. He is 8-1 with a 2.44 ERA. Kyle Freeland will go for the Rockies and he has the opposite record at 1-8 with a 5.19 ERA.
