The New York Yankees wrap up their three-game series with the San Francisco Giants on Sunday afternoon. The Yankees dropped the opener on Friday 9-1, but they bounced back to beat the Giants 8-4 on Saturday to even the series. Will Warren pitched five innings on Saturday to earn his first career win and Cody Bellinger hit a tie-breaking single in the fifth inning to help the Yankees get the victory. The Yankees have now won two of their last three games after dropping three in a row. They now sit at 8-6 on the season which puts them in first place in the AL East. They are a half game up on the Toronto Blue Jays in the standings. Sunday the Yankees will send Carlos Rodon to the mound as they try and finish off a series win. Rodon comes into Sunday 1-2 with a 5.19 ERA. He pitched great in his first start, but has struggled over his last two. He gave up four runs in six innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks and then five runs in six innings against the Detroit Tigers, both losses.

The Giants will look to send him away with a third straight loss as they try and bounce back from the loss on Saturday.

They will send Logan Webb to the mound looking to get that win. Webb has pitched great in his last two starts as he has given up just one run in 14 combined innings against the Houston Astros and Cincinnati Reds.

The loss on Saturday snapped a two-game winning streak for the Giants and dropped them to 10-4 on the season.

The Giants will stay out east this week as they will play four games at the Philadelphia Phillies and three more against the Los Angeles Angels.
