Cleveland Guardians take a 3-game winning streak into their series opener with the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday.

The Cleveland Guardians (18-13) didn’t get the quick getaway they hoped for on Thursday but extended their winning streak to three games before heading out to open a six-game road trip. The Guardians visit the Toronto Blue Jays (15-16) to open a three-game series on Friday at Rogers Centre. José Ramírez made history in Cleveland’s rain-delayed extra-innings victory on Thursday, stealing a base in the 10th inning to become the first player in franchise history with 250 home runs and 250 steals.
