There wasn’t a big hit disparity between the Reds (9) and Guardians (8) in Game 2 on Saturday but Cleveland could just not get on the board. The Guardians got on the board first in the fifth inning on a Daniel Schneemann solo shot but that is the only run they could muster. Will Benson of the Reds responded in the bottom of the fifth by hitting a solo shot of his own. Rece Hinds putt an exclamation on the board fittingly hitting a solo homer to effectively end the game in the eighth. The Reds used six pitchers in a bullpen type of game but it was still effective.

The Reds have a great chance of pulling off the sweep today because they will start Andrew Abbott. The lefty is 2-0 with an impressive 2.10 ERA. The Guardians will counter with Luis Ortiz who is 2-4 with a 4.78 ERA.
