Luis Ortiz will take the mound for Cleveland in the third game of this series. The right-hander is looking for his third win of the season, heading into this game with a 2-5 record with a 4.66 ERA. He has season totals of 56 strikeouts over 48.1 innings. Ortiz took on the Cincinnati Reds in his last start and went 5.0 innings, allowing two earned runs on six hits with seven strikeouts.

Detroit will start the game with Casey Mize on the mound. The right-hander is 6-1 this season with a 2.53 ERA and only 35 strikeouts over 42.2 innings.
