The AL West leaders will try to make it six-straight wins when they send Luis Garcia to the mound against Kansas City’s Kris Bubic. The Astros are now 34-18 on the season, the second-best record in the American League, trailing only the Yankees by three games.

Houston’s offense exploded in a 10-3 victory over the Royals on Friday night, including three home runs for the Astros. After reportedly agreeing to a six-year, $115 million contract to remain in Houston, Yordan Alvarez hit a two-run homer, which followed a two-run blast by Martin Moldonado to break the game open in the fifth inning. Aledmys Diaz opened the scoring for Houston with a two-run home run in the second inning.
