Rodriguez and Donovan Solano both had two RBIs in the one-run win on Tuesday. Minnesota bounced back on Wednesday with a 2-0 shutout win. Willi Castro hit an RBI in the sixth inning to put Minnesota ahead before Kody Clemens hit a solo homer in the seventh as an insurance run. Despite the win, the team only had four hits, one more than Seattle.

Emerson Hancock will be the Seattle pick to start this game. The right-hander has an even 3-3 record this season with a 5.43 ERA and 50 strikeouts through 66.1 innings. Hancock had one of his worst starts of the season in his last outing. He gave up nine earned runs on six hits over four innings with five strikeouts against the Chicago Cubs.

Battling Hancock, Minnesota will move down the starting rotation and put ace Simeon Woods Richardson on the mound in the last game. The right-hander has a 2-4 record this season with a 5.06 ERA. He has a season total of 46 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in 2025. Woods-Richardson gave up three earned runs over six innings with three strikeouts in a quality start in his last outing.
