The Braves look to win their first series of the season when they play the Marlins on Sunday afternoon

The Atlanta Braves host the Miami Marlins in the third and final game of their series on Sunday afternoon. The Braves finally got their first win of the season on Friday when they beat the Marlins 10-0, but couldn’t make it two in a row on Saturday as they were shutout 4-0. The Braves now sit at 1-8 on the season and are looking to get their first series win on Sunday. The Braves will stay at home for the next series as they will take on the Philadelphia Phillies for three games starting on Tuesday. Sunday the Braves will give the ball to Grant Holmes. Holmes will be making his third appearance of the season. He pitched four innings in his first game against the Los Angeles Dodgers and he gave up four runs and four hits. Thursday he pitched an inning against the San Diego Padres and he looked a lot better as he struck out two without giving up a run.
