Yesterday, it was looking like the same result. Philadelphia took an 11-4 lead in the top of the ninth inning when Jordan Romano gave up six earned runs in two-thirds of an inning. After being pulled for Jose Alvarado, Philadelphia picked up the 11-10 win. Bryson Stott finished the game with three RBIs on a 3-for-5 night.

Miami will opt to start Connor Gillispie on the mound in the last game of this weekend’s series. The right-hander is winless this season with a 0-2 record and has 18 strikeouts through 19.0 innings with a high 6.63 ERA. He gave up a massive eight earned runs on eight hits with six strikeouts over 5.0 innings in his last start, which was by far his worst of the season.

Jesus Luzardo will take the mound in this clinching game for Philadelphia tonight. The left-hander has been great this season with a 2.31 ERA and an undefeated 2-0 record. He has 29 strikeouts in 23.1 innings as well. Luzardo allowed three earned runs on five hits over 5.1 innings with four strikeouts in his last start against the San Francisco Giants. That was arguably his worst start of the season as well.
