The Pirates dominated on Monday to win their season-high fourth game in a row. The Marlins scored the first run of the game, but Pittsburgh broke out in the bottom of the third inning, putting up four runs. The inning was highlighted by a bases-loaded triple by Bryan Reynolds that the Pirates never looked back from. All nine Pirates starters had at least one hit among the 15 that were collected by Pittsburgh in the opener. The Pirates put up another four runs in the sixth inning to put an exclamation point on the game.

The Pirates will go for the series win by starting Mitch Keller, who is 1-8 with a 4.18 ERA. Miami will start Sandy Alcantar,a who is trying to get back to his Cy Young form but has a 2-7 record with a 7.89 ERA. This looks like we’re going to have a slugfest from both sides of the plate tonight.
