They are a game back of the Washington Nationals for fourth place in the standings. Sunday they will send ace Sandy Alcantara to the mound. Alcantara has struggled this season and comes into the game just 2-4 with an 8.42 ERA. In his last start he gave up five runs on six hits in five innings against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday. The Marlins have now lost his last four starts.

The White Sox will counter with Sean Burke as they look to pick up a rare series win and avoid a second straight loss.

Burke comes into Sunday 2-4 with a 4.35 ERA. He has pitched well in his last two starts as he has given up just one run in 12 and a third innings.

The White Sox, though, are just 1-1 in those two starts as they fell to the Kansas City Royals 4-3 on Tuesday.
