However, New York came screaming back, starting with a two-run home run from Franscisco Lindor in the eighth inning followed by a same inning two-run homer from Pete Alonso to bring the game back even at 6-6. Soto scored Lindor in the top of the 10th to win the game on an RBI single to center field.
