The Astros go for their fifth win in a row on Tuesday evening when they host the Nationals
The Houston Astros look to stay hot on Tuesday night when they take on the Washington Nationals in MLB Spring Training action. The Astros come into Tuesday on a four-game winning streak and it has pushed their spring record to 13-9. They haven’t lost since dropping a 9-3 decision to the Nationals last Wednesday. This will be the fifth meeting between the two teams and the Astros have won just one of thoe games. The Nationals won the first game 6-3 and the Astros won the second 3-0 back at the end of February. The Astros have dropped the last two and are trying to get back in the win column against the Nationals on Tuesday. They will wrap up their spring schedule with one final game against the Nationals on March 23. The Astros will then begin their regular season with six straight games at home against the New York Mets and San Francisco Giants.

The Nationals have played well against the Astros this spring, but come into Tuedsay on a two-game losing streak and 11-11 on the spring.
They did come into the week having won three of their last five games, but Sunday they gave up 11 runs and lost by six to the Tampa Bay Rays and then lost 6-2 to the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday.
Tuesday’s game will be the first of two straight on the road as they will also visit the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday. They will then play four of their last six spring games at home.
The Nationals will open the regular season with a home series with the Philadelpha Phillies and will play nine of their first 12 games at home.
