The Nationals have now won four straight games and hope to add one more on Sunday afternoon before heading back to our nation’s capital for a six-game home stay. Luis García Jr. led the Nationals on Saturday with three RBI after hitting a two-run double and an RBI single on a fielder’s choice. The team scored nine runs before the first out, tying the National League record that was set by the Philadelphia Phillies in 1948. Michael Soroka took the win on the mound after throwing for 5.1 innings, giving up four earned runs and striking out three batters.

Left-handed pitcher Mitchell Parker (4-4, 4.65 ERA) will get the start for Washington on Sunday while Arizona will use right-handed pitcher Corbin Burnes (3-2, 2.72 ERA).
