Johan Rojas hit the game-tying RBI and Bryson Stott ended the game on a wild pitch from Kyle Finnegan.

Philadelphia doubled down and took the second game 7-2 on Wednesday. Christopher Sanchez picked up his third win of the season, allowing two earned runs on five hits in five innings with six strikeouts. Kyle Schwarber led the offense, blasting a three-run home run in the first inning. J.T. Realmuto and Max Kepler both homered in the win as well.

Washington will close out the series against Philadelphia with Brad Lord starting the game. The right-hander is winless this season with a 0-3 record and a 4.67 ERA. He has 13 strikeouts in 17.1 innings. He gave up two earned runs on five hits in four innings in his last start against the New York Mets. He also struck out three batters.

He allowed two earned runs on six hits in his last start, going just three innings before being pulled. He struck out four batters on the team’s way to a 4-0 loss to the Chicago Cubs.
