They won on Friday by two runs 4-3 with Zack Wheeler picking up his fifth win of the season pitching 7.1 innings allowing two earned runs with six strikeouts. Kyle Schwarber, Alec Bohm, and Brandon Marsh, all finished with one RBI each. Last night, the Nationals took a 3-2 lead into the ninth inning before Kody Clemens played hero and hit a game-tying home run 413 feet to send the game into extra innings. Bryson Stott also homered early in the game and grounded out an RBI on the previous two runs before Clemens. Bryce Harper batted in Johan Rojas in the bottom of the 10th inning to get the win. Gregory Soto was credited with the win on the mound after pitching a scoreless 10th inning.

He went 5.0 innings in his last start allowing one earned run on four hits with two strikeouts against the Chicago White Sox.
