How to Watch New York Mets at Atlanta Braves: Stream MLB Live, TV Channel

The Atlanta Braves host the New York Mets in a double-header with playoff implications today.

The most exciting day of the MLB season is here. The Atlanta Braves (88-72) host the New York Mets (88-72) for a double-header that will decide which two teams earn the final two playoffs spots in the National League. If the season ended today, both teams would make it in based on winning percentage over the Arizona Diamondbacks (89-73). Heading into this double-header in the scenario there was a three-way tie in the standings with Arizona, Atlanta and New York, both Atlanta and New York would make the playoffs as wildcards. Atlanta holds the tiebreaker over New York and Arizona as well. So for Atlanta it is one win away from earning a playoff spot, two from the top wildcard seed. New York needs one win today and Arizona has to have either Atlanta or New York sweep the double-header to sneak in. Both Atlanta and New York are looking to secure a spot in the 2024 MLB Playoffs where the Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers and Philadelphia Phillies await the wildcards.
