The O’s beat the Astros in a convincing 7-0 win on Friday night. The game was so dominant by Baltimore, that starter Brandon Young took a perfect game in the eighth inning. It was Young’s first win of the season, as he came into the night with a 0-6 record. Second baseman Ramon Urias got the lone hit for the Astros on an infield single. Young finished the inning, and the Astros only had one hit the whole game. Coby Mayo and Dylan Carlson both hit homers to give Young more than enough run support.

The Astros will try to get even by starting Jason Alexander, who is 3-1 with a 5.02 ERA. It will be a tough act to follow for the O’s but they will start Cade Povich in Game 2. The lefty is 2-6 with a 4.95 ERA.
