Game 2 opened with a bang with five total runs in just the first inning. Things were looking great for the A’s holding a 4-1 lead on five hits which included a bases loaded walk and a ground rule double. But the Athletics didn’t score again with the Orioles pulling off the comeback. Colton Cowser hit a 455-foot jack to break the tie in the sixth inning and right fielder Ramon Laureano also hit a two-run homer in the fourth to get back within one run as part of his three-hit night.

Baltimore will try to keep it rolling today by starting Tomoyuki Sugano. The righty is 5-3 with a 3.04 ERA. The Athletics have yet to announce a starter for this finale. These two will play again and for the final time in August back in Baltimore.
