The opener of this series was supposed to go down on Friday night but it was postponed due to forecasted inclement weather. The Friday night game has been moved to Saturday night. The first game of this doubleheader will go ahead as regularly scheduled this afternoon at 1:10 p.m. ET. The second game will start at 6:10 p.m. ET. This is the first series of the season between these American League opponents. Detroit will be the slight favorite in the opener with a -125 line. Justyn-Henry Malloy was the star on offense getting a homer and a double to drive in two runs. Casey Mize will get the start for the Tigers this afternoon. He also has a 3-1 record with a 2.22 ERA and showed out in his last start earning the win against the Kansas City Royals going seven innings while only giving up one run on three hits.
