They did come away with a win in their last series against the Boston Red Sox, losing only the first game 6-1. They bounced back with two, one-run wins over the final two games.

Cade Povich will take the mound to open up this week’s series for Baltimore. The left-hander is 1-2 this season with a 5.16 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 29.2 total innings in 2025. He allowed three earned runs on three hits in his last start against the New York Yankees. He also had two strikeouts after lasting just 4.2 innings.

Pablo Lopez will get the start for Minnesota in this game. The right-handed ace is only 2-2 in his 2025 campaign, despite a low 2.25 ERA. He has 26 strikeouts in a season-total 28 innings pitched. He gave up two earned runs in his last start, going 6.1 innings in a 4-2 loss to the Cleveland Guardians. He allowed four hits with six strikeouts in the start.
