The Athletics try to avoid losing three in a row and this series against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday.

The San Diego Padres try to go for this season-series win in Sacramento tonight against the Athletics. This will be the only series between these California teams this season. San Diego is off to a tremendous start to the season with a 8-2 record which is good enough for first in the stacked NL West. The A’s on the other hand have yet to win a game at their new Sacramento home with an 0-4 record. The Athletics were swept at home early last week against the Chicago Cubs. San Diego will be the favorite even on the road to win this series tonight with a -155 line.
