The Cubs go for their fifth straight win on Saturday afternoon when they host the Padres

The Chicago Cubs look to extend their four-game winning streak when they play the San Diego Padres on Saturday afternoon. The Cubs played their first game at home this season and beat the Padres 3-1 despite having just three hits. They got a great start from Shota Imanaga in the win. Imanaga went seven and one-third innings of one-run ball. It was his second win in three starts and he has pitched well in all three. The Cubs weren’t great on offense, but did just enough. They scored their first run on a bases loaded walk and then got two runs on two outs in the fifth to take the lead back. The Cubs are now 6-4 on the season and will turn to Matthew Boyd in the second game of the season. Boyd pitched well in his first start on Sunday. He gave up no runs in five innings and looked in line to get the win, but the bullpen blew the lead and they lost 10-6.
