Their last five wins have come against the Padres and San Francisco Giants and has helped push them back into first place in the National League West. They now lead the Giants by 2.5 games and are four up on the Padres.
Shohei Ohtani pitched for the first time since 2023 on Monday. He went one inning and gave up a run, but did hit 100 mph on the radar gun. He also went 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in a pair of runs. The Dodgers still have not announced a starter for the second game of the series. The two teams will play on Wednesday and Thursday, before the Dodgers welcome the Washington Nationals to town to wrap up a long 10-game homestand.
